A Seedling Campus Beautification which began in 2003-2004.
The Anderson PTSA joined with the Seedling Foundation to transform the campus with help from student leadership groups like NHS and Key Club.
The students did a lot of the planting in the initial stages.
Limestone planters in the front of the school softened its institutional lines and provide a frame for the beautiful plants from Grateful Growers..
Limestone planters and blocks and a radical reshaping of the front entry drive flowerbeds have transformed this neighborhood school from institutional to beautiful.
The beautification continues with regular Landscape Workdays with AHS PTSA and Seedling Foundation volunteers.
The Seedling Campus Beautification has been expanded on and now affects the entire campus due to the tireless efforts of Sylvia McMinn of the Anderson HS PTSA.
